As a Mom to a toddler, I have learned over the course of 2 years that there are very easy ways to look chic while in the first year or two of having a baby. There is nothing easier than throwing your hair up in a ponytail if you have a baby who grabs and pulls hair, and there is nothing more comfortable than wearing a t-shirt and wide leg jeans. However, wearing the t-shirt and jeans alone and especially with sneakers leaves a new Mom feeling, oh so not sexy! Here is an easy outfit to wear out for the day if you are feeling extra tired and need to feel comfortable!
*I purposely didn't iron my jacket because (I am busy) and no new Mom has time to worry about wrinkles. LOL!
1. Wearing a nice handbag of good quality always makes a plain t-shirt look nicer. It just works every time.
2. Big sunnies cover a new Mom's big dark under eye circles better than any concealer. Plus, big sunglasses always go back to Audrey Hepburn and you don't get any classier than she.
3. Big studded earrings are a must because when you have a baby in the first year and a half, your precious little angel will think your long dangly earrings are somehow a play gym. So, I suggest buying a pair of awesome studs that are glamorous that go with most of your wardrobe and wear them all of the time.
4. Last but not least, comfortable pumps. I know heels are the last thing a Postpartum Mommy wants to imagine wearing, but they are such a pick me up. If heels are just not your thing any given day, then cute flats will be perfect and go just as well with your chic Mom ensemble.
Thanks for reading and hope that these easy ideas help you! Have a wonderful day!
