Wearing Bright Colors During Winter

Winter can be so cold and boring, but you can always spruce up your blacks with some Summer colors when you need to lift those winter blues! Here are some easy ideas on how to do that and a few pics of my easy winter brights!

1. Cardigans- While I'm not a gigantic fan of always wearing cardigans, I do think they come in handy in times where you nothing else to wear. I buy light- weight cardigans in colors I often wouldn't normally wear so that I can wear them over neutral head to toe colors and brighten up a bit! It's also a bit more sophisticated for older women who don't want to wear neon colored jeans, which can be a bit too young for the work place.
Also, since cardigans usually cut in a v in the neckline front, please stick to scoop neck shirts underneath! It looks cleaner and professional for work and in general.

2. Square scarves- I am such a fan of square scarves worn folded and tied at the neck like this because they are dainty and delicate and when worn in the winter with sweaters or cardigans, they soften the look up a bit.

And there you have 2 simple tips on making your winter blacks pop!
